DANCE COMPETITION (DC)


1.    TITLE & COMMENCEMENT
The ‘Legal Spectra, 2020- DANCE COMPETITION’, shall be held as per the schedule to be fixed by the organizing committee. Unless a contrary intention appears from the context, the following words and expression are used in the following sense -
·         DC means ‘Legal Spectra, 2020 - Dance Competition’.
·         CS means the ‘Cultural Society, SNIL’.
·         Organizers/ Administrators/ Authority means ‘Members of Organizing Committee of Legal Spectra, 2020’.
·         Team means Team registered for DC composed of member from participating Teams from respective Law School/ College/ Institution/ University in Legal Spectra 2020.
2.    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
·         Undergraduate students pursuing three or five-year courses of LL.B. degree from any Law School/ College/ University recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate. Only one Team can register from a particular Law School/ College/ Institute/ University to participate in the DC.
·         Each Team shall comprise of 1 or more member(s).
3.    FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION
·         The event will be conducted in one round only. All Teams shall participate in this round of DC.
·         The time limit for the DC will be 3 minutes for each Team. However, 1 minute will be given to each Team for stage preparation.
·         The Team with the highest score at the end of the round shall be declared as winner.
4.    MISCELLANEOUS
·         The time for performance may be subject to changes by the Organizing Committee on occasion of registration of Teams depending upon the number of Teams registering for the Competition.
·         The winner will be announced at the Valedictory Ceremony.
·         Teams shall bring their own costumes and props (if any); the host institute shall not take any responsibility to that effect.
·         The host institute shall provide the music system; however each Team shall bring their own CD/ Pen Drive for the sequence.
·         Participants will bring two copies of the recorded tracks, one of which should be submitted to the members of the CS at the time of reporting. The host institute will not be responsible for the failure of any recorded track/CDs.
·         In case of tie, the Organizers shall have the freedom to adopt appropriate methods of tie-breaking.
·         The Organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action for any unethical, unprofessional and immoral conduct.
·         The Rules specified herein above shall be strictly adhered to. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify the Teams for deviating from the Rules.
·         The Committee will resolve any contingencies that may arise during the conduct of the DC and will be the final arbiters regarding any doubts/grievances.
·         The decision taken by the Committee shall be final and binding. These Rules are not exhaustive.
